NHCC Founder Mr. Antonio ” Tony” Vega will be recognized by U.S. Congressman Don Bacon next August 25th at the NHCC August Breakfast at Bellevue University. Tony Vega founded the Nebraska Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in 2005 with the support of Latino-Hispanic business owners on 24th Street in Omaha. The first vision of the pioneers was the betterment of the Latino businesses in South Omaha. They intended to create an organization that can be the voice for their businesses, help them obtain entrepreneurship education and let dignitaries know about their needs and challenges as contributors to the City of Omaha and the State of Nebraska. This vision expanded to the betterment of the Latino -Hispanic Community Statewide, by working together for one Nebraska together!
