Embajadores

Embajadores is a group of members that represent the Nebraska Hispanic Chamber at grand openings, membership celebrations or greet new members of the business community. Embajadores are committed to organize Café N Contacts, visit new businesses and offers the free Amigo Packet; and contact new members or prospect members to join the NHCC family

Cafe N Contacts

Cafe N Contacts is a rapidly growing network that gives Nebraska Hispanic Chamber Members a simple way to make connections and build business relationships within our community. Hostess must be a member.  We meet quarterly at a NHCC member location to have fun and share our business experiences. Impacto

The Impacto Program is a set of Spanish educational sessions, workshops or training led by the members of the Nebraska Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. This program is developed in partnership with the Nebraska Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation. The goal is to support emerging businesses or commerce in expansion through business education and opportunities to new projects to reach their goals. By exposing the businesses members of the Nebraska Hispanic Chamber, the Impacto program works also with organizations outside Omaha.

Professional Development

The Professional Development program intends to support the Nebraska entrepreneurial and professional community within a variety of training, workshops and activities that help individuals and teams to build skills to advance in their career. This program also includes the annual Leadership Diversity and Inclusion Conference (NHLDI) in partnership with the Nebraska Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation.

As registered providers of the Society of SHRM the NHCC the program offers Professional Development Credits (PDC’s) to employees working in the field of Human Resources.

Training and workshops are offered the last Friday of the month within the monthly networking breakfasts.

Workforce Development

The Nebraska Hispanic Chamber of Commerce supports businesses, organizations and initiatives that promote entrepreneurship, employment opportunities, and an inclusive workforce that reflects and embraces Diversity in Nebraska, encourage education and a real engagement of all groups within the community and the labor system.

South Omaha Committee (SOCO)

It is a NHCC committee formed by the South Omaha business owners (NHCC Founders) that meets bimonthly to voice the various needs and concerns of the immigrant business community in Omaha. Meetings are in Spanish.S

Diversity and Inclusion Committee

Committee formed by the NHLDI Conference group of the NHCC Foundation. This committee is in charge of the planning and development of the annual Diversity and Inclusion Conference

Iowa Works

NHCC Member. Agency that works in partnership with the Iowa Workforce Development. Employers and businesses can post jobs, hire veterans and apply for qualifying federal tax creditsNHCC member.

Remedy Intelligent Staffing

NHCC member. Franchise division of Employbridge, the largest light industrial staffing supplier in North America with over 600 locations. Short-term and long-term temporary staffing assignments available along with opportunities for permanent hire.
